We have learned that the House bill to set up an unconstitutional Office of Religious Persecution Monitoring (ORPM) has been redesignated. It is now HR 2431. The counterpart bill in the Senate is S.772, introduced by Senator Arlen Specter (R-PA). You'll recall that Specter was the man who invented the infamous "Magic Bullet" theory. As counsel to the Warren Commission investigating the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, Specter came up with the bright idea that a bullet from Oswald's rifle abruptly changed directions twice to strike both Texas Governor John Connally and the President. Thanks to Specter, the ridiculous, lone assassin theory became official dogma.
