Do you mistakenly believe that only Jews are Abraham’s seed and that only Jews are God’s Chosen? If so, you go against what the Apostles Peter and Paul taught. Peter said of fellow Christians: “Ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people” (1 Peter 2:9).
Paul wrote, “If ye be Christ’s then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise” (Galatians 3:29).
Can you and I really be Abraham’s “seed?” Yes, Paul said so.
God also told Abraham, “And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee.”
Now even though this promise given in Genesis was a personal pledge made only to Abraham, I believe God implied it was for Abraham’s seed as well. So, Christian, you are the seed. You are blessed!
The great secret is this mighty verse found in Galatians 3:16: “Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He (God) saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed which is Christ.”
Yes, Christ is the very seed of Abraham. “And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed.” How great is that!
