During the 1984 convention of the Democratic Party, the governor of New York, Mario Cuomo, likened America to “an extended family where, through the government, people all take care of each other.” At the 2012 Democratic Party convention in North Carolina, the slogan was “The government is the only thing we all belong to.”
Our Constitutional Republic considered it sufficient that laws should guarantee to every citizen the free and inoffensive use of his own faculties for his own life. Instead, it is now demanded that laws should extend welfare, education, and morality throughout the nation—a kind of “philanthropic” Uncle Sam.
This is the lure of socialism. These two uses of the law are in direct contradiction to each other. We must choose between them. A citizen cannot be free and, at the same time, not free.
Democratic progressives are championing a centralized state, which explains the Democratic platform that includes expansion of state control in the private sectors of healthcare, banking, education and energy.
Some say that fascism is a far-right ideology. Others will tell you that fascism is far left. Because leftists are trying so hard to bind conservatism to fascism, they can’t see where their own left path is leading. The left wants the resources of individuals and industries to service the state. But fascism is flung so far into radicalism, it can meet itself whether it is coming from the right or the left.

Benito Mussolini was originally a revolutionary socialist. However, Mussolini split from the Socialist Party in 1914 due to his adopting and encouraging violence from his supporters as unrest spread across the country. He purchased media outlets. He forged the paramilitary fascist movement in 1919 and became prime minister in 1922. Mussolini’s first act was to rig elections in the Fascists’ favor.
From Today’s Headlines
Does this sound familiar? Does the history of Mussolini sound like the same in-your-face violence being wrought, media takeover and election meddling occurring today?
Of course, the Democratic progressives claim to be anti-Fascist (Antifa). But are they not traveling down the same road as Mussolini?
On Today’s Socialistic Path
The progressives call the Trump presidency a fascist regime, yet they do not examine their own donors and high-level supporters who hold all power over them. Why can the progressives not see they are merely puppets? As puppets the progressives will simply be used as tools to enlarge the power and territories of those who already wield control over so many aspects of our lives.
This is where fascism comes in. The elite—be they Soros, Koch, Rockefeller, or Rothschild; to Bezos, Zuckerberg, or Page; or to Pelosi, Sanders, Warren, or Biden—will never give up their own luxury and power. Haven’t you noticed the special privilege that every one of them believes is owed to them (instant retirement packages and superb healthcare)? Even upstart Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, upon her election, instantly became an insider, then complained about how much more money she needed and how grand an apartment she must have in a most influential neighborhood.
The very definition of pure Socialism is based on public ownership of the means of production. This means the machinery, tools, and factories used to produce goods that aim to directly satisfy human needs. In a purely socialist system, all legal production and distribution decisions are made by the government. Individuals rely on the state for everything from food to healthcare. And, the government determines the output and pricing levels of these goods and services.
Fascism is what happens when socialists work for equality, but the small clique of elite puppetmasters still retain total ownership (capitalism) and control of resources and of the government, by authoritarian and totalitarian rule, as is necessary.
Why Don’t the “Progressives” See What Is Coming?
Why can’t the progressives see their controllers for who they are? Are they too ignorant of history? Or, is it because they hope to be higher on the totem pole for favors that are doled out by the elite?
These are stark examples being played out before us already by the left-wing progressives. Can you see that this is happening already with the targeting of Christians and other conservatives?
Already, can we not see the left swinging so far left, as they have gone over to the radical concept of Fascism?
A warning for the future
If the progressives are left unchecked, they will lead us down a literal road to hell on Earth. If you think your rights are being usurped now, read history.
