Are Climate Change Activists Today’s Chicken Little?

Al Gore has become a multimillionaire while perpetrating a hoax of monstrous proportions upon mankind. He has travelled the globe telling anyone who would listen that global warming was going to be the end of the world. Millions of copies of his books and movies have been sold. Gore could be called the “Pied Piper” of this movement.

    Apparently, Al Gore believes in the old mantra, “Do as I say, not as I do.” His palatial mansion in Tennessee has a carbon footprint that dwarfs many third-world countries. Gore has travelled extensively, but never with concern for the environment. Instead of an electric vehicle, Gore utilizes planes and gas-guzzling SUVs as his preferred mode of transportation.

    However, Gore was not the first to take up the mantel for “Climate Change.” In 1974, Time magazine published an article about a coming ice age. In a 1975 article, Newsweek suggested that cooling may lead to food shortages because of a lack of production.

    These articles blamed fossil fuel use and dust particles from coal burning reflecting sunlight. Leading experts in climatology were everywhere impersonating Chicken Little, bellowing out to all who would listen that the sky was actually falling. Time magazine even published a map showing the expansion of the polar cap which, in turn, was causing a horrid six-year drought in Africa.

    Can I pause here and ask you a simple question? How many times is your local weather forecaster able to accurately predict the chances of precipitation in the coming week? What about the coming two weeks? If your weathercaster is like ours, they hedge their predictions, claiming some in the viewing area “may” see a certain percentage of showers.

    Like those who are pronouncing global warming, they are not completely wrong in their predictions. Our planet goes through cycles of cooling and heating.

    Today, scientists have drilled through miles of ice in the Antarctic to obtain details about the earth’s temperature, rainfall, and wind changes. These layers in the ice sheets are a lot like the rings in a tree stump: they can tell scientists about the environmental conditions when the layers formed. The presence of dust can indicate dry and windy periods. The molecular compositions of the ice can tell the scientists whether a layer formed during a warm or cold spell.

    In 1974 we were introduced to a hole in the ozone layer above our planet. Ozone protects earth from some of the radiation emanating from the sun. The panic created by this discovery led to claims of melting polar ice caps, blinding UV rays and horrific sunburns leading to skin cancer.

    Man-made chemicals can have a detrimental affect on the atmosphere. However, most choose to ignore the fact that volcanic eruptions, forest fires, solar activity, and the evaporation of salt water from our oceans also contributes far greater towards depleting the ozone layer. Who is to say that HAARP and its broadcasting electromagnetic waves into the atmosphere doesn’t also have a harmful affect.

    Have you heard about the hole lately? Nope! Today, scientists understand more about the ozone layer than they did in 1974. It is a seasonal phenomenon that forms during Antarctica’s spring when the weather heats up and heals during Antarctica’s winter.

    Have you also noticed the verbiage used by these so-called experts? The outcry of a coming ice age was then replaced with global warming, and lastly settled upon “climate change.” The actual truth lies in the fact that our natural world is not climate controlled. God explained it in the book of Genesis:

    The revelation that the global mean temperature has changed less than six-tenths of a degree in over a century has not dimmed to shouts of climate change activists. Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) has claimed that we have less than twelve years to address climate change. She has even suggested that Miami will disappear in a few years.

    Ms. Ocasio-Cortez, with the financial support of George Soros, announced a bold new initiative to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Dubbed the “Green New Deal,” it targeted net-zero emissions by 2050. However, her former chief of staff, Saikat Chakrabarti, admitted that the Green New Deal “wasn’t originally a climate thing at all.” Instead it was a full frontal assault to increase governmental control of your everyday life.

    Google recently hosted a three day summit in Italy to talk about climate change. A-list celebrities travelled near and far to attend this shindig. As I recently reported on my radio show, the method of transportation used included over one hundred private jets, huge yachts, and were ferried about the resort in Maserati SUVs.

    Allegedly, former President Barack Obama attended this summit along with actor and climate change activist Leonardo DiCaprio, Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg, and over three hundred others. Considering the amount of “fossil fuel” burned to get to this event, do these people really believe the rhetoric they are preaching?

    Moreover, 16-year-old Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg recently addressed the United Nations Climate Action Summit in New York accusing world leaders of robbing her of her future. She travelled to her speaking engagement on a zero-carbon yacht. As is typical of these hypocritical climate activists, support staff for the yacht were ferried across the ocean on jumbo jets.

    After Ms. Thunberg’s performance, more than 500 scientists and professionals in climate and related fields sent a request to the Secretary-General of the UN asking for an open debate on climate change. These scientists noted there is no climate emergency, therefore, there is no cause for panic and alarm.

    Our politicians are not to be upstaged by a 16-year old from Sweden. Democratic candidates for president have been outspoken on their views concerning climate change. Bernie Sanders has stated he is willing to talk about population control, suggesting that abortion is key to addressing the climate crisis. Joe Biden claimed climate change was behind increasing cancer rates as well as genocide in Africa. Pete Buttigieg claimed there is evidence that the Syrian civil war was partly caused by climate change.

    The madness of Climate Activist quest continues unabated. Here are but a few examples:

    Climate Change activists are proud to report that ninety-seven percent of the scientists agree there is a global warming trend. However, they will neglect to add that warming is a whopping 0.8 degrees over the past 150 years.
