Apathy and deceit leading towards destruction
“Now the LORD had said unto Abram... I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.”

“There was a certain householder, which planted a vineyard, and hedged it round about, and digged a winepress in it, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a far country: And when the time of the fruit drew near, he sent his servants to the husbandmen, that they might receive the fruits of it. And the husbandmen took his servants, and beat one, and killed another, and stoned another. Again, he sent other servants more than the first: and they did unto them likewise. But last of all he sent unto them his son, saying, They will reverence my son. But when the husbandmen saw the son, they said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and let us seize on his inheritance. And they caught him, and cast him out of the vineyard, and slew him. When the lord therefore of the vineyard cometh, what will he do unto those husbandmen?”

Proclaiming to be a purveyor of truth has no merit unless it is based on sound biblical doctrine. It is easy to twist Scripture to fit the narrative one wishes to espouse. Satan and his minions have done this for centuries. Many of today’s so-called pastors, sadly, fall into this category.
Thanks to Cyrus Scofield, along with his financiers Samuel Untermeyer and others, a bastardized version of God’s Holy Word was presented to this world. This unholy doctrine has infiltrated seminaries, and thus pulpits, around the world. Sadly, it has been pilfered down to the flock and poisoned it like a plague of anthrax.
I recently received a letter of concern from a brother in our ministry family. He informed me, citing Genesis 12, that by going against the Jews I was bringing a curse upon the ministry. Our Pastor Emeritus, the late Texe Marrs, has numerous teachings on this subject. I felt compelled to author this piece in the hopes of convincing those who have fallen for the lie of Scofield, and the resultant poisoning of the flock, with biblical truth.
Let us begin with the words Jesus taught in Matthew 21. This teaching is sometimes called the “Parable of the Vineyard” or the “Parable of the Tenants.” Jesus asked the chief priests and elders, “When the lord therefore of the vineyard cometh, what will he do unto those husbandmen?”
What was the chief priests and elders reply? “He will miserably destroy those wicked men, and will let out his vineyard unto other husbandmen, which shall render him the fruits in their seasons.” In verse 43 Jesus explains what will happen: “Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.”
Warning of a New Covenant?
The prophet Jeremiah was a deeply spiritual man. He referenced a new covenant:
“Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD: But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people...for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD; for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more” (Jeremiah 31:31-34).

Jeremiah foresaw this new covenant which included the Gentiles. Under this testament, God will call out a people for Himself from all the nations of the earth. The old covenant was conditional, and when Israel abandoned it, God abandoned them. The new covenant is a promise to be written on the hearts of those who know the Lord.
Who Are Abraham’s Seed?
Furthermore, as we learn in Galatians 3, the Apostle Paul explains who are considered to be Abraham’s seed:
“But the scripture hath concluded...that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe... Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise” (Galatians 3:22-29).

No longer does the physical seed of Abraham matter. But what of this new covenant that Jeremiah spoke of? This can be found in the Book of Hebrews:
“But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises. For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord. For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people: And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest. For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more. In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away” (Hebrews 8:6-13).

Twisting of Truth
Many skeptics will vehemently claim that this teaching is “Replacement Theology,” claiming that we are replacing the Jews. Nothing could be further from the truth, though. Remember the words of Paul: “There is neither Jew nor Greek...if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.” How anyone can twist this teaching is beyond comprehension.

Obviously, this doctrine goes completely against what the Zionist-controlled Cyrus Scofield wanted taught. To reward the Zionists who financed his many travels to Oxford and with the publication of his concordance, Scofield gladly altered God’s Holy Word. Surely this alleged “minister” knew what the penalty for this would be, didn’t he? For the answer is written for us all to learn in Revelation 22:18-19: “For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.”
It is easy to slanderously label someone with whom you vehemently disagree with doctrinally. Though quick to label Texe Marrs as an anti-Semite, those who chose this classless phrase knew not what was on Texe’s heart. He was passionate in his devotion to Jesus Christ. His teachings were always pointed towards bringing everyone, no matter what genealogical makeup they possessed, to know Christ as their Lord and Saviour. That is the continued wish from us at Power of Prophecy Ministry. Cast off the burden Satan has placed upon you. Come to know Jesus as His yoke is light.
